The MCA BIO 100 is thebiogas analyzer rack 19 version developed by ETG.
L'biogas analyzer MCA BIO 100 series is the ideal solution for biogas combustion measurements and industrial applications. This instrument offers accuracy, stability, reliability and a wide measuring range. Unlike other analyzers, theMCA 100 ETG uses NDIR techniques for the measurement of CH4 and CO2
These single point analysers are used to monitor the composition of biogas, which uses methane (often biogas contains large amounts of CO as a contaminant). ETG analyzers have the ability to measure CO2, CO, O2 and H2S in methane additions and are thus able to accurately provide the composition of the flue gas, in order to optimize the process.
ETG has designed a cleaning system for the electrochemical cell to measure H2S, by installing an automatic measurement cycle and flushing the air environment. In this way, the electrochemical cell measuring H2S gas is preserved and will last longer.
The improved optics and electronics of ETG NDIR analyzers have virtually eliminated zero drift after the initial warm-up period. Temperature and pressure compensation eliminates the major causes of scale drift in many NDIR instruments
