The dilution probe works on the sonic nozzle principle. It is ideal for reducing concentrations, or for drying and cooling a condensable gas.
This system consists of a dilution control panel, a 316L stainless steel dilution probe and a glass sonic nozzle. The panel also controls the injection of standard gas for a very precise determination of the dilution ratio which can be between 1/16 and 1/300th.
Thanks to the sonic nozzle principle, the dilution ratio is very stable despite variations in the absolute pressure in the duct. If the inlet is blocked, the operator can initiate a cleaning of the probe filter by backflushing.
Key points:
- Adjustable dilution air pressure
- No heated line required
- Sample transported at positive pressure
- Dilution ratios from 1/16 to 1/300
- Requires zero instrument air on site at 5 bar
- Requires high standard gas to adjust dilution ratio
- Consumption: 6 l/min of diluent air
- Consumption: 20 to 500 cc of standard gas
- Packed weight: 25 kg, 1 case
- Backflush system to clean the inlet filter
- No loss of soluble molecules
