The Phx42 is the latest FID (Flame Ionization Detector) analyzer designed to perform inspections in accordance with Method 21, SOR/2020-231 AND EN 15446 as well as many Total Volatile Hydrocarbons detection applications. The phx42 is a portable FID analyzer that measures VOCs in ambient air. This latest generation FID has been specially designed by LDARtools to optimize your fugitive emissions measurements in ATEX environments. Robust, lightweight and highly accurate, the phx42 features several innovations dedicated to LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair) programs such as its extended range of VOC measurement up to 100,000 ppm, active hydrogen regulation, heating time reduced to 15 min and live monitoring via Bluetooth. HYDROGEN CONTROL Major improvements have been made to hydrogen control. Manual adjustment will no longer be necessary. EXTENDED RANGE The phx42 is still a FID, but the upper range has been increased significantly over phx21 and TVA1000b/TVA2020. EXTENDED SECURITY CERTIFICATIONS Certified to the following applicable standards: FM/UL (USA), CSA (Canada), ATEX (European Union), IECEx (USA, Canada, China, Saudi Arabia, etc.). This allows phx42 to be used in compliance with Method 21, SOR/2020-231 and EN 15446. Two versions are offered: standard and phx42 ZOM (Zero Oxygen Mode) for oxygen-free environments.
