Description

Through flow cell for the measure of turbidity, nephelometric type. Measuring system includes a light source and a light receiver. The emitted light beam hits the liquid surface and is scattered by the suspended particles in the sample. The scattered light is measured at 90° (light scattering 90°); the intensity of this scattering is proportional to suspended solid content in the sample. This system is based on a single light beam and is called 'nephelometric'. Measuring units are NTU (Nephelometric Turbidity Units). Power supply to the cell is highly stabilized in order to assure a constant intensity of the emitted light; light source assures a long term stability (many years) for the emitted light. The optical groups are immersed into the process liquid. Turbidity measure is expressed in NTU engineering units (Nephelometric Turbidity Units). The cell is completely made of PVC and is supplied c/w brackets for wall mounting. Process connections are two, 1/2'F. Sample flowrate into the cell: lower than 0,5 lt/min The through flow cell Mod.702E1A0A0 is supplied c/w chemical cleaning system. The cleaning sequence ca be directly driven by Mod.uP transmitter. Measuring range: 0-2 / 2000 NTU
