Cutting width: programmable from min. to max. with decimal increasing depending on materials. Cutting system: single rotating blade on one 3” or 6” mandrel. Pneumaticchuck with plateau to grip both the core and the log from outside up to a max.Ø of 800mm. (31,5"). Driven blade unit. Special arm device to facilitate loading/unloading operations of the blade to the shaft. Mandrel tailstock support automatically operated. Loading / unloading trolley hydraulically operated with up & down movement motorized for log in, rolls out throughout joystick. Memorized log position for repeat logs loading operations. Automatic blade pivoting angle. Automatic detection of the log diameter. Automatic “0” blade tip detection at every cut cycle or after a HOLD. Activation of multi program recipe memory pages. Machine controlled by a PLC “SIEMENS” and interface operator “TP700” with touch screen technology for all the working functions and display for the cutting widths pre-selection, production counter, rotation speed of the log and of the blade.
