Description

Fully automatic working cycle with the exception of loading and unloading of the material. Working width: 1700mm. (67” ). Max. O. D. of the log: 800mm (31,5") on Ø 76mm. (3”) mandrel with Ø 920mm. (36,2") blade. Max weight of material loadable on unsupported mandrel: Kg. 80 (176.5 lbs) and Kg. 250 (550 lbs) with supported mandrel. Indexing tolerance: +/- 0,1mm. (0,003"). Cutting width: programmable from min. to max. with decimal increasing depending on materials. Cutting system: single rotating blade on one 3” or 6” mandrel. Pneumaticchuck with plateau to grip both the core and the log from outside up to a max.Ø of 800mm. (31,5"). Driven blade unit. Special arm device to facilitate loading/unloading operations of the blade to the shaft. Mandrel tailstock support automatically operated. Loading / unloading trolley hydraulically operated with up & down movement motorized for log in, rolls out throughout joystick. Memorized log position for repeat logs loading operations. Automatic blade pivoting angle. Automatic detection of the log diameter. Automatic “0” blade tip detection at every cut cycle or after a HOLD. Activation of multi program recipe memory pages. Machine controlled by a PLC “SIEMENS” and interface operator “TP700” with touch screen technology for all the working functions and display for the cutting widths pre-selection, production counter, rotation speed of the log and of the blade. Total safety protection guard with sliding doors, complying with the “EC” requirements in force Internet remote-service assistance with link to CMC CEVENINI for on-line software up-date and fault finding. .
