Special working width: 2500mm. (98.4”). Max. O. D. of the log: 600mm. (23.6”) Ø 3” mandrel with 100mm. automatic/pneumatic expansion near the chuck having 2500mm width. Ø 2” mandrel with 100mm. automatic/pneumatic expansion near the chuck having 1700mm width. Indexing tolerance: +/- 0,1mm. Cutting system: single rotating blade on one mandrel. Machine controlled by a “PLC SIEMENS” and interface operator “Blue Mode” with touch screen technology. Heavy duty full metal with shatter-proof glass windows total protection guard, complying with ”CE” requirements in force and with special automatic closing/opening movement. Automatic blade pivoting angle. Multi-width cutting preselection on the same log (8 different cutting widths) Modem link to CMC for on-line software up-date and fault finding research. Automatic starting position of the blade thanks to laser detector. Machine fitted with one "in-line trolley", manually operated, installed parallel to the log slitter. The hydraulic lift allows the operator to load logs to be cut having max. weight of kg. 250 and to unload the cut rolls.
