Description
Spur gears are cylindrical toothed gears widely used for transferring mechanical motion and controlling speed, power and torque between shafts. Their simple design features straight parallel teeth that are evenly positioned around the circumference of the cylinder. They are considered the most commonly used type of cylindrical gear.
