Additional lubrication can be included to the material used in our sleeving making hose bundles much more easy to assemble. Additional lubrication is a mid to long-term modification, dependent on environmental conditions, however, for the same application and for other uses requiring a more "life-time" change, low friction materials utilising more fundamental changes to the base polymer are also available. Whilst not exhibiting the initial WOW factor of the lubricated material these grades offer permanent advantages. In addition to this, unlike some of the spiral wound protection systems, our sleeving does assist in the prevention of hydraulic oil jetting out, in the case of inner hose failure, and the subsequent environmental hazard.
