System of individual tension control for tensioners of the creel. Introducing the desired tension value for each position, the system adjusts and adopts automatically the pneumatic pressure of the tensioner to obtain the programmed exact value. The system informs the tension value of each position in real time, allowing the adjustment of deviation limits to stop the machine if the values go outside the preset tension limits. The tension readings are taken in the front part of the creel, thus avoiding the possible tension differences owing to the length of the creel and friction points. The ITC system can be retrofitted onto any existing Comsat creel already equipped with “AIR” and “ROTAIR” tensioners.
