Contec Co., Ltd. has developed 10 new BOX Computer BX-T3000 Series embedded fanless PC models with support for Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2021 LTSC (64-bit) OS licenses for embedded devices. Contec began taking orders for the new products on February 28, 2023. Featuring 8th-generation Intel Core (Whiskey Lake-U) processors, these new embedded computer models are compact at just 30 mm thick and about the size of an A5 piece of paper with an operating temperature range of −20 to 60°C*1. Offering the same specifications as previous models equipped with Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2019 LTSC, these new products include Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2021 LTSC with long-term service support until November 2031. Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2021 LTSC is designed for specific embedded applications requiring long-term operation stability and is provided as a fixed OS version with 10 years of long-term support from the release date. This means no annual functional updates are required, which helps minimize the need for verification and updating using service packs and repair programs. The OS also offers various lockdown functions required for use with certain equipment, allowing users to design embedded systems with greater flexibility.
