Precision failure-initiating indent, high-precision scoring and a variety of construction materials make the MINTRX rupture disc a versatile and economical overpressure protection option. MINTRX burst pressures are in the mid-range of the TRX line of scored, reverse-acting rupture discs. The MINTRX rupture disc is a low-pressure, scored, reverse-acting rupture disc – a non-reclosing differential pressure-relief device – that protects equipment, vessels and systems from overpressure damage. It also excels at safely isolating pressure-relief valves. The MINTRX features a non-fragmenting design with uniform petal opening-flow characteristics. The MINTRX is designed with a standard zero manufacturing range. This enables the system to operate up to 90% of the specified rupture disc burst pressure. Each rupture disc is proof pressure-tested to 90% of the specified rating prior to shipment. Innovative encapsulating rings Our encapsulating rings prevent over-torquing from affecting the burst accuracy of the MINTRX. They also: -Hold the rupture disc in the proper position -Prevent disc slippage when insufficient bolt load is applied to the companion flanges -Allow for easier installation No vacuum support necessary The MINTRX withstands full vacuum without affecting the burst pressure setting or reliability. No additional components, such as a vacuum support, are required – which means less cost and less worry for you.
