Description

Applications The AQUAPAL® DB is clean, highly flexible, sturdy and specially developed for the needs of railway systems. The special inner lining is absolutely neutral to tase and odour. It has been tested in accordance with KTW “pipework” guidelines and DVGW W270, and is approved for transporting water. It has also been approved by the Deutsche Bahn AG as a drinking water hose. Moreover it owns the fire control and toxicity certificate according to DIN 5510-2. Specifications Special transparent inner lining, free of plasticisers, according to FDA (21 CFR 177.2600) Reinforcements: synthetic fibres Red, fabric patterned CR-EPDM-cover resistant to ozone, weather, UV, excrements, fats and abrasion Working pressure up to 20 bar / 290 psi Temperature range from -20°C up to +90°C / -4°F up to +194°F Electrically conductive, regardless of length, R < 106 O Absolutely neutral to taste and odour Highly flexible, can be overrun (except construction with steel wire helix) Complies with recommendation XXI, cat. 2 issued by the BfR and FDA (21 CFR 177.2600) Meets the requirements of fire and smoke gas toxicity according to DIN 5510-2 Potable Water Hose Deutsche Bahn AG Approval
