The device is specially developed for insulation monitoring to earth of out-voltage networks to carry out a preventive monitoring on the device insulation level. Preventive monitoring is crucial for applications that are not permanently used (for example: motors, fire-engines, and so on)/ Humidity and condensate serious affects such application reducing insulation’s level and obstruct correct functioning at the moment of applications’ activation.
Insulation resistance’s monitoring process is done by applying a measure’s signaling in direct-current component between isolated network and earth. By surveying the leakage current to earth, insulation level is measured. The device uses micro-switches to allow regulation of trip threshold. The devices are well equipped with on frontal panel signal of active device ON, signal TRIP (low insulation), a test button and micro switches series for regulating trip threshold.
