The K-TRON ZRD/ZRC series DuroProtect® rotary valves are mainly used as metering and discharge valves for various conveying products in powder and granular shape, with diameters less than 1 mm. They are mostly used for heavy-duty applications with differential pressures up to 1.5 bar, and temperatures up to 100 °C (212 °F). They are highly wear-resistant, are offering complete leakage-free operation. The design is based on the studies in the Coperion test center and experience, and is finally adapted to the Mohs' bulk material hardness. They offer quality performance for ongoing operations, without error. They can resist shocks up to 10 bar, and feature large round and drilled inlet/outlets, two FKM lip seals with a labyrinth ring, prepared for seal purge, stainless steel tubing, with a 24 V DC solenoid valve (8 W), filter regulator, gauge protection of sealing rings and hub, and are completely CE compliant by standard.
