The above series represent natural addition and logically complete
series MS 84 and MS 134 by possessing major dimensions and
exchange surface that reaches 10 m2.
These series of heat exchangers have removable tube bundle which
makes them inspectable both from oil and water side. Thus, being
inspectable from both sides, these heat exchangers are perfectly
suitable for various applications with non filtrated liquids.
The material of which tube bundle itself is executed can be copper
for performance with fresh water, copper-nickel for marine water
and stainless steel for applications with corrosive fluids and gas.
They consist of small diameter smooth tubes; this allows the best
compromise between high thermic yield and low pressure loss.
For a good exchanger practices some oil rates are indicated in the
tables. Going down to the lowest rate of flow indicated in the tables,
the low oil speed causes a great loss in yield, whereas a rate of flow
which is superior to the maximum indicated causes great pressure
loss and does not considerably increase the thermal yield.
The performance diagrams indicate the heat quantity each exchanger
can dissipate according to the difference between oil and water
mean temperatures.
