The exchangers with tube nest can be used with other kinds of fluids which must be compatible with copper and its alloys.
They can be used for water cooling but, in this case, to avoid any oxidation, their shell must be made of brass and not of steel.
For each use, with the exception of oil cooling, it is recommended to consult our Technical Department.
They consist of smooth tubes with little diameter; this allows the best compromise between high thermic yield and low pressure losses.
For a good exchanger working some oil rates are indicated in the tables. Going down the lowest rate of flow, indicated in the tables, the low oil speed causes a great loss in yield, whereas a rate of flow which is superior to maximum indicated, causes great losses of pressure and does not considerably increase the thermal yield.
The yield diagrams indicate the heat quantity each exchanger can disperse according to the difference between oil and water mean temperatures.
Such diagrams concern the exchangers working with the maximum oil rate indicated in the table.
With the minimum rate, the yield decreases of about 10%.
The necessary quantity of water is the following: - 85 l/h for each kW to disperse with water temperatures ≤20°C
