Description

Borosilicate glass has a very low coefficient of thermal expansion, about one-third that of ordinary glass. This will reduce the stress caused by the temperature gradient. Therefore, it has stronger fracture resistance. Because of its very small shape deviation, this makes it an essential material for optical systems. The borosilicate glass window is very suitable for the application of high temperature and harsh environment. The most commonly used high borosilicate glass for optical Windows are: BOROFLOAT ® 33, Pyrex. BOROFLOAT is three times more resistant to thermal shock than standard calcium carbonate glass. Creator Optics ( CNCO ) is a manufacturer of borosilicate glass optical windows. The main shapes are like normal optical windows: circle / round windows, rectangular / square windows, cutting windows, conical windows and "T-step" windows. We can provide custom-made borosilicate windows according to special requirements or drawings. All of these customized borosilicate windows are made of BOROFLOAT 33 or Pyrex glass. Creator Optics can manufacture precise borosilicate glass optical windows. The surface quality can up to 10/5, surface accuracy / flatness can up to 1/20 lambda and parallelism up to 30 arc second. In addition, these BOROFLAOT 33 / Pyrex optical windows can be coated quality laser AR coating of high resistance to laser damage threshold. Widely used in high-power laser Head Protection window.
