The sliding lock is connected at the front of the full harness at the attachment point.
The velocity-activated locking wheel runs along the bottom of the track. The brake block is connected to the locking wheel inside the housing.
When the velocity-activated locking wheel runs over a perforated hole, the brake block is pressed home against the bottom of the track. When the locking wheel has passed the perforated hole the brake block is spring-retracted back into the housing.
In the event of an unintentional fall and where the fall velocity is high, the brake block will not have time to retract into the hosuing again, but fastens in the perforated holes in the track, stopping the fall. At the same time, the spring-activated mechanism presses the brake block home in the perforated holes in the same way as for Mono Stop.
Cresto Twin Stop is supplied with one aluminum twistlock carabiner.
