5GMG201E1 main and auxiliary generator is introduced from GE. It is installed in HXN5 freight locomotive introduced from GE by CRRC Qishuyan Co.,ltd, which is a trunk line freight locomotive in China.It is a three-phase salient pole synchronous motor with horizontal single support structure and coaxial main and auxiliary generator. It adopts single-row cylindrical roller bearing with main and auxiliary generator and slip ring by the two ends of bearing. Rotor support is installed in the frame to support rotor in case of bearing damage prior to motor installing into locomotive.The motor input end is flange directly coupled with diesel engine crank shaft to transmit power.It adopts axial forced ventilation with cooling air inlet above the end cover outside auxiliary generator, a branch line cooling main generator stator and rotor, another branch line cooling auxiliary generator stator and rotor and the cooling air are converged at the rear end of main generator and then discharged at the rear.
