The M20UxT-Nx-7P Series Handheld USB Joysticks are used as motion control devices (USB HID Compliant Joystick) allowing up to three axis of control with up to eight designer-defined button functions. An Application Developer, using a Windows® Operating System (or Mac OS X®, or Linux OS) with the standard HID Driver Interface of the operating system can quickly implement a motion control application. This device also uses the same USB HID Compliant Game Controller technology as a Microsoft Sidewinder®.
This series features the USB Joystick (FlightStick Technology) in a space saving NEMA 4X (IP66) sealed stainless steel enclosure that has a dis-connectable USB cable; designed for rugged use where the cable could become compromised and need replacement. The key feature of this design is a 7 pin NEMA 4 (IP66) connection (Shell) which provides grounding, shielding, and USB signals.
This design is the perfect solution for harsh environments requiring rugged industrial motion control devices (USB HID Compliant Joystick) and near waterproof sealing. The standard USB Joysticks have all the features of the FlightStick technology family; and when combined with the dual button N34 joystick knob, it can be held in one hand and easily operated with the other hand for say a Pan-Tilt Zoom (PTZ) application. Optionally, this USB motion controller offers either a one button switch or three button switches which can be used to perform any three designer-defined functions. This device also uses the same USB HID Compliant Game Controller technology as a Microsoft Sidewinder®.
