The NEMA 4 (IP66) sealing F60U6-NxW Series medical mouse is an "open frame" that is offered to Original Equipment Manufacturers. These rugged medical mouse / cleanroom pointing devices have a three (3) button mouse switchpad wired directly to the USB interface PCB. The heavy duty switch PCB is layered with thick "hard gold" contacts and the white three button elastomer has molded "hard carbon" pill contacts that combined have been proven to provide more than 10 years of reliable, maintenance free, service. The white elastomer with its 2mm key travel provides excellent tactile feel, even while wearing gloves. There are four knobs/handles and a number of manufacturing options to tailor the device to the requirements of the application, see the technical drawings below. The white FDA silicone boot, white PVC joystick knob, white three button elastomer, and blue "left click" button have an impermeable molecular barrier sealing protection obtained from a Parylene C conformal coating process. This hygienic cleanroom pointing device is impervious to infectious pathogens or carcinogenic compounds with allows complete removal by proper decontamination, sanitization, or sterilization procedures.
