The Peach Repitter Slim feeds, aligns and repits unpitted peach halves at a speed of up to 160 halves per minute.
Benefits / Features
• Reduced employ of manpower.
• Thanks to the automatic alignment system and to the repitting device, the peach halves require near-zero rework.
• Higher quality
• Guarantees a high alignment efficiency and a gentle product handling during the whole process.
• Reduced maintenance cost
Thanks to the solid design and to the quality of the components, CTI FoodTech’s repitter is mechanically reliable and allows an extremely easy maintenance.
Operation
The halves are introduced into the feeding hopper, inside which they are carried to the tilting device through an advancing/alignment system (shuffle feeder).
During the transfer, the product, having its hollow part oriented downwards, is lined up and then conveyed to the tilting system. The peach tilting device moves halves onto the conveyor flight, positioning the hollow part upwards. The conveyor advances with an intermittent movement, which is synchronized with the product input from the tilting device and with the repitting phase. On each conveyor flight there is a four-cups row to accommodate halves.
In the repitting station the four head units, equipped with knives, separate the pit from the pulp.
