To prevent unauthorized changes from being made to balance settings/data, A&D Borealis enables setting of user rights and passwords. The minimum weight can be set either by direct key input or performing a repeatability test, from which the balance automatically calculates the minimum weight. The balance can display an alert until the sample amount reaches the value entered as the minimum weight.
