DHHI is the main enterprise in development and manufacture of large submerged arc furnace and is in the leading position in the development trend of large, energy saving and environment protection for submerged arc furnace, in China. The products of DHHI mainly include calcium carbide furnace, series silicon alloy furnaces, series manganese alloy furnaces, series chromium alloy furnaces, series nickel alloy furnaces, industry silicon furnace and titanium slag furnace, etc. Since 1959 when the first submerged arc furnace was produced by DHHI, it has supplied over 400 submerged arc furnaces to domestic and overseas customers (including dozens of EPC projects). Up to now, DHHI has developed and produced 6.3MVA - 48MVA series submerged arc furnaces and meanwhile held complete technology, electrode core technology, furnace control technology and mechanized tapping technology, etc. for 60MVA, 75MVA, 81MVA calcium carbide furnaces through independent research and development. DHHI is the standard establishment unit for submerged arc furnace industry.
