PRODUCTION MONITORING TOOL Our client is an industrial group, specialized in engine and chassis parts. It designs, develops and produces aluminium castings and machined parts for a wide range of car manufacturers and tier 1 subcontractors. Within the framework of the installation of a new robotized island dedicated to the validation of cylinder heads produced by our customer, a production monitoring tool was realized. The project The software developed allows the visualization and evaluation of the data recorded during the tests and aims at highlighting possible variations over time and automatically informing the line manager. It also makes it possible to monitor the production rate. Technical Characteristics This instrument allows you to visualize the evolution over time of the different measurements taken (pressure, engraving quality, etc.). Filters are used to select the data of interest (type of parts, type of test, tooling used and period). Several sets of data can be superimposed and can be compared. Special features It also allows you to periodically schedule e-mail alerts that automatically inform the customer in case of deviations on the production line. Comments can also be added by the operators, which improves the understanding of variations on the production line and helps to solve these problems.
