Della Toffola’s cartridge filter holders enable the removal of any colloidal particles, yeast and bacteria contained in the wine. To gain the greatest benefit, this operation should be conducted immediately before bottling in order to ensure that the beverage can no longer become contaminated.
Made entirely of AISI 316 stainless steel these Della Toffola housings assure the utmost hygiene, allow for sterilizing, and have rounded edges for a perfect, efficient filtering process. They are complete with butterfly valves connected at the inlet and outlet, a ½" ball valve on the inlet elbow fitting, a ½" sanitary valve on the outlet elbow fitting, and DIN 11851 connectors at the inlet and outlet.
The coupling for the cartridges is of the bayonet type, but housings with different types of coupling can be provided on request.
Single or multiple housings suitable for holding cartridge type filter elements or lens-shaped modules are also available.
There are automated systems available too, complete with a plc for managing the filtering and washing stages automatically. The software provided optimizes the working cycles, minimizing the filtering and washing phases to avoid any time wasting or loss of product.
The systems can provide for several filtering stages, as necessary, in order to guarantee the utmost quality of the end product.
