Rotary Disc Sorting Machine is the automatic sorting machine for quality control on 100% of production. The parts to be checked can be loaded by any automatic feeding system (vibrator, storage table, etc.). Inside the machine the parts are transported on a steel disc, equipped with controlled motorization, which allows positioning them in the different stations of vision or measurement. Visual controls are made using high-resolution digital industrial cameras and bi-telecentric optics. The machine has been conceived in such a way to offer high flexibility in the configuration of the control stations: it may be equipped with a laser gauge, contact measurements stations, stations based on eddy currents, etc. At the output of the DV-RDSM, the discharge channel of the controlled products can be connected to different boxing systems, with accumulation tables or with an automatic palletizer. The reject is differentiated and segregated inside the machine. The operator interface is provided by an industrial LCD touch screen monitor, through which the user interacts with the system. It is possible to archive all the control statistical data, broken down by job order, for the generation of X-R cards to analyze the variability of the process. In addition, the high accessibility to the control stations and the possibility to parameterize each electronic device via software, minimize retooling times needed for changing from one product type to another. The system allows the creation, in guided mode, of a practically unlimited number of control programs.
