Image processing system DigiScan XD500

The DigiScan XD500 is a new compact stereoscopic width gauge used to measure the width of strip or plate in cold rolling mills and processing lines. With built in Ethernet connection (with Modbus TCP and OPC UA protocols), integrated digital inputs / outputs and analogue outputs, the XD500 has a very flexible communication architecture and can easily be connected into any automation system. Industrial network protocols, Profibus DP or Profinet, are available as option. The XD500 has an integrated Web server and the connection to the gauge with any Web browser, from a PC or a tablet, gives an access to gauge measurement data, configuration parameters and diagnostic.
