The PTC Non-Magnetic Test Oven is specifically designed for burn-in, qualification testing and calibration of electromagnetic downhole drilling instruments. In the field, these ovens are used for periodic calibration of the electronics on the drill tool. The oven simulates the downhole temperature conditions and validates that the instruments will work properly and accurately throughout the run.
The non-conductive oven is constructed with a fiberglass body and structural supports and is built to withstand the harsh oilfield environment. High velocity vertical down airflow with adjustable louvers ensures uniform airflow across the entire length.
PTC ovens come equipped with the Protocol 3™ microprocessor-based temperature and hi-limit controller with a large LCD display and real time clock for auto start capability. It features three operating modes: Manual, Timer, and Profile. The data-logging functionality enables reporting and analysis, and data files can be exported via the controller’s USB port.
