MC 15: Versatile and safe control unit for medical applications You’re on the safe side with the MC 15: This control unit features single-fault protection. It can connect up to four drives and up to two control keypads. In addition to its integrated SMPS, the MC 15 features an excellent price-performance ratio. It can also be directly mounted to the MEGAMAT 10 or MEGAMAT 5 single drive. This control unit also has IPX6 protection so that it is protected against the ingress of very small contaminants and foreign particles. Customized to your needs In addition, there are many expansion options for the control unit so that it can meet requirements for hospital and nursing beds. These include a 29-volt DC connector for peripherals (such as external light sources). An optional rechargeable battery is also available so that a nursing bed can be operated in the event of a power failure. A power cable with earthing/ground is also available. An optional configuration features IPX6 protection, which ensures that the housing is protected against the ingress of solids and liquids as well as against touch-contact voltages.
