Description
A new cast stainless steel AIS-compliant knife gate valve is now available from DeZURIK. The AIS-compliant knife gate valve is based on DeZURIK’s successful KGC-BD design which is a cast stainless steel, resilient seated and bi-directional knife gate valve. The AIS-compliant version is available in 3-24” sizes and meets all provisions of the American Iron and Steel Act (AIS).
The AIS-compliant valves are manufactured at DeZURIK’s Redmond, Washington plant. Standard available materials of construction are a 316 stainless steel body, stem, and gate, with a 304 stainless steel superstructure, stainless steel fasteners and PTFE packing. Seat materials include Chloroprene (CR), Terpolymer of Ethylene, Propylene and a Diene (EPDM); Acrylonitrile Butadiene (NBR); and Fluoro Rubber (FKM). Manual and bevel gear handwheel and chainwheel actuators; pneumatic and hydraulic cylinder actuators; electric motor actuators; and a complete line of accessories are available.
