The aM Cass cylindrical fuse links are designed to provide short circuit protection in transformers, motors, etc. They also provide switchgear protection due to low 12t values and good current limiting capabilities. To work efficiently, the fuse links must be associated with a type of overloading protection device, such as a thermal switch. The design includes ceramic tube with high resistance to thermal shock and internal pressure. A high breaking capacity is enabled in limited physical space. Silver-plated copper is used in the design of the contact caps. The melting elements are also silver-plated for the purpose of preventing aging and therefore keeping the electric properties unalterable. The links are available with a striker or fusing indicator.
