The single-deck lift DH-VB.15.E1 is a robust lift designed to work in “hostile environment” conditions (e.g. with regular dock loading), and to suit the most demanding applications in the transport business, such as supermarket & food distribution. Many options are available to adapt the lift to meet specific customer requirements and applications, for instance: • Hinged ramps at the side & rear edges of the platform • Manual or hydraulic closure (hydraulic closure recommended for longer aluminium platforms above 1250 mm, and for all steel platforms) • Various types of safety rails • Special adaptations for the locking gear of barn doors • Shunt stops to vertically descend the platform in a suitable position, that allows to reverse the vehicle into the loading dock without damaging the lift runners and platform. CHARACTERISTICS PLATFORM • Weight-saving aluminium platform, or robust heavy-duty steel platform • Alu platform [OVP002.0]: manual open / close (assisted by torsion bars); hydraulic closure as option [OVH004] • Steel platform: hydraulic closure [OVP001.1 + OVH004] highly recommended; manual open / close [OVP001.B.1] advised against FUNCTIONAL & MECHANICAL CHARACTERISTICS • Overhead beam: operated by a single lift cylinder mounted in a beam at vehicle roof level, and a set of steel cables and pulleys • Overhead beam avoids damage suffered at loading docks, caused by driving over forklifts or heavy electrical pallet jacks. Therefore extremely well suited for use in "hostile environment" • Overhead beam column lift is suitable for mounting on closed bodies with barn doors
