Description

Di Nicola manufactures rising and non rising stem cast steel valves in carbon steel ASTM 216 WCB/GP 240GH+N and stainless steel with high nickel alloys for conditions of extreme corrosion from over fifty years with dimensions between and nominal pressures to EN ASME pressure classes from 125 PSI to 900 PSI . With the construction according to API 600 and ASME B16.34 , API 598 Test second , size flanges according to ASME B16.5 , EN 1092-1 and ISO 7005 and spacings between flanges according to DIN 3202 , EN 558-1 , ANSI B16.10 , ends weld ASME B16.25 . The company Di Nicola produces non-standard at the request of customers . The gate valve body is made of cast steel and it is suitably dimensioned to assure a high safety factor. The thicknesses are always higher than the mini-mum ones established for GATE VALVE by the API Standards. The Series 150 has been designed with particular care, being the oval section of the central body suitable to stand irregular deformations. Also the body of the Series 300 has got an oval section, but only near the seats, while the rest of the body gets wider and assumes a circular section. The bodies of all the upper Series have got circular sections, in order to allow the most uniform distribution of the stresses. The diameters of the throughflow sections are equal to the ones foreseen for the fittings of the same nominal diameters and series of the standards ASA B.16.5. The diam eters of the connecting flanges to the pipe exceed the minimum ones foreseen by the above said standards for the corresponding fittings. Wide fittings are foreseen in the parts connecting the flanges to the body and everywhere there is a concentration of stresses.
