Description

Di Nicola manufactures rubber wedge gate valves in ductile iron alloys for over fifty years with sizes and nominal pressure of 2.5 bar till 25 Bar . Di Nicola resilient wedge gate valves are coated with epoxy resin with minimum thickness 200 microns ,marked according to EN ISO 19 and face to face dimensions according to DIN 3202 , BS 5150 , ISO 5752 , ASME B16.10 , Flanges according to EN ISO 1092. 2 - 2531, BS4504 and various other standards . The company Di Nicola produces non-standard at the request of customers. The primary scaling of the Di Nicola gâte valves with résilient wedge is obrained by a simple compression of the wedge millier surfaces. The total absence oflateral frictions avoid the wearing due to long time working. The secondary sealing is ohrained by rwo O-Rings positioned in ilie upper part of the valve.The operating stem rotâtes on a bronze bushing fixed on the bonnet by a threaded connection, with an upper sealing as dust protection. The wedçe is completely coated with vulcanized ÈPDM rubber, with drainage on tbe bottom. The fixing screw between body and bonnet are protected against oxidation by a sealing material. The painting cycle with epoxy resins used for the Di Nicola valves grants a high adhésion of the coating to the métal, a total absence of imperfections and a thickness of minimum 200 microns.
