Fiber optic fusion splicer SOC

The Fusion Crocodile® (SOC) solution enables easy and fast connector assembly on site while maintaining the high quality standard of Diamond connectors. The key component for this is the sophisticated, field-terminable "Crocodile® Alberino" 2.5 mm ferrule assembly for connector types E-2000®, SC, ST, FC and the 1.25 mm variant for the F-3000® connector. The ferrule assembly consists of a mini-pigtail with integrated splice protection elements. The fiber endface is core centered (ACA) using DIAMOND's well-known active fiber alignment process and polished under manufacturing conditions to strict factory specifications. The new fusion is assembled on site using the Fitel S179 fusion splicing tool. The high quality of the tool and ferrules ensures low insertion losses.
