The new series of "Diedron FC" belt filters are based on innovative operating principles that ensure very high yields in the filtration of cooling lubricants; in fact, paper consumption is reduced by at least two-thirds - these units require about half the space of a common belt filter.
The operation of this innovative filter mat is very simple yet effective; in fact, the contaminated liquid is conveyed to a trough from where it is uniformly distributed to the underside.
Thanks to the particular shape of the inclined chute, a deep water column is formed in the first section where the sludge accumulates.
The resulting combined effect of the filter fabric and the layer of solid residues intensifies the effectiveness of the filtering action and ensures significant savings of the fabric itself.
When the progressive accumulation of sludge completely clogs the filter medium, the liquid level rises, and with it the float which actuates a proximity switch set for detecting the travel limit.
This controls a gearmotor for the advance and rewind of the exhausted fabric.
Before rewinding, the fabric passes into the next chute section that provides for a partial drying of the sludge.
This is subsequently separated from the fabric by mean of an oscillating scraper. Thus, optimal rewinding is facilitated as well as the final recovery of sludge concentrate in a dedicated container tank.
FEATURES CONSTRUCTION
The filters are made from sturdy powder coated galvanised steel.
They consist of a frame with a perforated inclined chute on which the filter media rests, a fabric pulling and rewinding system controlled by a gearmotor, a floating equipped with an innovative inductive switch,
