This equipment is designed to perform detection and dimensional control of metal parts. The developed device has a belt conveyor, where the operator places the following parts for testing. The part is subjected to two different tests.
Initially the equipment detects the presence of the threaded hole by a visual inspection camera. If this presence is confirmed then a mechanicalsystem check the hole dimension. With this two test?s the equipment determinates if the part is OK or not OK. All the rejected parts are pushed to an independent box of rejected parts.
The equipment allows the processing of four different parts and can be increased the number of parts for inspection. The control and management of equipment are handled through a HMI console. The machine setup for a different code is less than 50 seconds.The cycle time of the equipment can reach 1 second per part. The equipment can operate with automatic feeding units for all parts.
