Mounting for photovoltaic panels on bitumen waterproofing
Roof-Solar Bitumen is a mounting system for installing photovoltaic panels on flat roofs. It is used on buildings whose roof is made of a bitumen membrane. Without ballasting or perforation of the membrane, the installation of photovoltaic panels is facilitated and the integrity of the building preserved.
The use of 60 cm Roof-Solar Bitumen rails results in a linear load distribution (and not a point load), thus reducing the risk of puncturing.
The advantages of ROOF-SOLAR BITUMEN
Advantages of the system
A solution certified by a committee of experts
Certified by a Technical Approval (ATec) from the commission in charge of formulating technical opinions (CCFAT), this mounting system has proven its reliability through rigorous tests: wind resistance, bending under descending loads (in case of heavy snowfall), tensile test of the entire system and creep test.
Roof-Solar Bitume also has a Broof (t3) fire resistance rating.
Photovoltaic mounting suited to public buildings
The Roof-Solar Bitumen mounting can now be found on large roofs such as those of supermarket chains: E.Leclerc, Système U, Les Mousquetaires (Intermarché), but also of stores specialising in organic food such as Biocoop, etc. There are many examples of its use on public buildings which attest to the quality of this photovoltaic mounting system.
A minimum load
Roof-Solar Bitumen allows solar panels to be installed on the roof in such a way that the added load on the building structure is as low as possible. The pre-assembled rails with the bitumen retaining strips are thermally welded to the bitumen membrane.
