Mounted on a tri-axial semitrailer chassis the precision chipper DH 910 SA-B produces wood chips of the highest grade thanks to its closed rotor and the perfect adjustment of screen basket and blade advance. The longer-than-usual in-feed unit permits even very long pieces of wood to be chipped with maximum performance and effectiveness The full-steel chipping drum is fit into solid steel frames, while the special arrangement of the chippings knives makes the DH 910 SA-B run with a minimum amount of vibration and ensures perfectly shaped chips from all types of wood. These are discharged by way of a rear conveyor swiveling up to 90 degrees. Despite its great strength the DH 910 SA-B shows no signs of sluggishness and is ready for use within minutes. Large smooth-running doors and centralized lubrication points greatly help facilitate maintenance. The chipping knives can be re-shapened for a much longer service life, even while running at great intensity. Additional equipment such as a damping facility and discharge arm lightning provides for a great variety of possible fields of operation.
