SRI3/H2 - Hospital insulation monitor - 6 Din modules
The SRI3/H2 insulation monitor is a tool that allows you to continuously monitor the status of LV networks (≤230Vac 50/60 Hz) with neutral isolated from earth (IT-M systems). The device has been developed for the control of electrical systems with neutral isolated from earth used in premises for medical use classification II for which, according to the standards CEI EN 61557-8 and CEI EN 64-8/7 – Part 7 Section 710 continuous surveillance of the state of insulation towards earth is prescribed; in isolated neutral systems the intervention of the protections for the first earth fault is not required: the fault must be signaled acoustically and optically by a control device.
The SRI3/H2 monitor is able to detect insulation defects due to the resistive component even in the presence of parasitic DC voltages.
The particularities of the SRI3/H2 are:
- monitor resistive type insulation losses
- monitor overcurrents via an external CT in order to prevent failures of the transformer or other electrical equipment
- monitor the transformer overtemperature using an external PT100 or PTC probe
- monitor the over and under voltage of the system
- monitor the connection status to the system in order to ensure continuity of supervision
The monitor can be installed with up to 4 PSR3 series remote signaling panels (optical/acoustic signaling)
RS485 Modbus RTU standard serial output option to be connected to a supervisory system or to our LCD EVO monitoring system (code 9SRI3/H2RS485 only).
