Agitators are used for intensive mixing and dissolving processes for liquids of low to medium viscosity. Media can be mixed right in the IBCs, avoiding the need for time-consuming pumping procedures. They are distinguished by their compact construction, high efficiency and their robustness during daily use.
Ease of use, low running costs, maximum reliability.
Examples of the areas in which they are used include:
The food and drinks industry
The cosmetics and perfume industry
The chemicals and mineral oil industry
The paint and dye industry
Water treatment
DRIVE
The drive is a high efficiency IEC squirrel Cage motor. It has a voltage of 400V, 50Hz, an IP rating of IP55 and insulation class F. Customised versions are possible. The motor bearings have life-time lubrication and are therefore maintenance-free.
LIFTING BEAM
The V2A cross-beam has two carrying handles and quick-release hooks. This allows the agitator to be changed quickly and easily. The cross-beam also has a motor protection switch with a 16A CEE.
MIXER SHAFT
A sleeve coupling connects the mixer shaft to the rotor by means of an interlocking fit. Delivered in V4A as standard. Other versions are:
Sheathed with St/PP or PVDF.
Coated with ECTFE.
Drive shaft lengths up to approx. 1000 mm are possible..
MIXING IMPELLERS
For the impellers, PJ type propellers are provided as standard. Other types are available, depending on the stirring task involved. The versions are: V4A, PP, PVDF, coated in hard rubber or ECTFE.
