Overband with permanent magnet model OVB are applied in productions where there is a high contamination of ferrous metals to be extracted and expelled from the process automatically. The Overband consists of a small structure through which a conveyor belt circulates with vulcanized ejection blocks. This conveyor belt is driven by a geared motor or a hydraulic motor, depending on the application. A permanent magnet made of ferrite or neodymium quality magnets is housed inside the structure, depending on the power required. This magnet generates a powerful, constant and intense magnetic field. They can be installed cross-line or in-line to the conveyor belt. Robust, reliable and easy to install. Just place it in the right place, at the recommended height and connect the geared motor. They do not require mechanical maintenance except for those recommended in the instruction manual. We have different models adapted to the working conditions required by the customer.
