The material is sucked/transported through a fluid and collected in a fine net basket. The basket and collected materials sit in the neutralising fluid until emptied. Liquid Catchment & Demister Filter A liquid catchment system with a demister filter prevents neutralising liquid and moisture from exiting the system. A hydrophobic filter is an optional accessory that can be used as an extra precaution against moisture. Dustcontrol recommends the use of a 0W-20 oil as neutralising liquid to ensure that no hydrogen build-up occur. Many metals, eg. aluminium, titanium, magnesium react with water creating hydrogen which is highly combustible. Use of water in such instances is prohibited.
