WHEATON® Safety Coated Filter Flask • Filter flask is coated on the outside with WHEATON®’s plastisol safety coating • Recommended for routine filtration of organic solvents, corrosive liquids and the removal of particulates from HPLC solvents • Flask has a #2 hose connection that accepts 1/4” (6mm) I.D. flexible tubing for connection to a vacuum source • Ground glass connection eliminates phthalate contamination that can occur from silicone or neoprene stoppers • Drip tip on the support bases extends below the hose connection preventing filtrate from entering the vacuum line • Glass components manufactured from WHEATON® 33 low extractable borosilicate glass that conforms to USP Type I and ASTM E 438 Type I, Class A requirements • Autoclavable (121°C, 15 psi, 15 minutes)
