The turners are machines created for turning heavy or large loads, which, by means of automatic movements, manage to place the load in the desired direction or position. Our turners are state-of-the-art machines, with drives controlled by frequency converters. Their operation, automatic or semi-automatic, can be carried out by means of desks or by means of PLC.
The turners usually handle the load directly in contact with the product, on pallets or on the customer's own tools. The weights in our catalogue range from 500 to 25,000 kg. They can also be prepared to work in extreme temperature environments.
The most important parts of a turner are:
- The lower frame, is the set responsible for the support of the cradle, and the turning system, is fixed to the ground or to a base platform, supporting the weight of both the load and the rest of the devices that make up the turner.
--- The cradle or turning platform is the element that contains the load deposit and the extraction system if necessary, on which the loads are transported during the different operations.
--- The load extraction system consists of the devices that allow the autonomous entry or exit from the turner to the adjoining conveyors of the load. Normally, it is composed of roller or chain conveyors embarked on the cradle. If there is no transfer, the design is simplified, usually one side of the cradle will have a flat surface and the other, its design is adapted to the load to be treated, making a seat structure in the form of a prism.
