Description

The Dytran model 3202A is a sensitive, ring style IEPE piezoelectric accelerometer. Its internal Faraday shield provides immunity against electrostatic noise. It has a radial 2-pin MIL-C-5015 connector and also a 1/4-28 through-hole mount. This feature helps the sensor to be turned at a degree of 360° before securing so that installation is easier. The 3202A model has a sensitivity of 100 mV/g, and a low end frequency response of 0.5 Hz. It is packaged in a stainless steel housing and has a ceramic shear sensing element. Hermetically sealed units, these provide reliable functioning even in high humidity or dirty environments. The units are isolated in order to avoid EMI/ ground loop interference.
