Shock sensor 3086A3T

The 3086A3T by Dytran is a highly rugged IEPE accelerometer. It has been designed for measurement of extreme short duration events and severe shocks. This feature allows it to handle 2,500g's, which is required of high shock measurements typically. For more accurate measurements, the device is fitted with accelerometers that have a frequency which is naturally high, and a construction that is rugged and durable. That way it can give an accurate measurement of this type of magnitude of shock levels. The model 3086A3T is available in a range of 20,000g and it has a quartz crystal that acts as a sensing element. It is sealed in a lightweight titanium housing hermetically sealed and the total weight is 3.5 grams.
