Dytran model 3200B2 is a rugged IEPE accelerometer with a natural frequency larger than 90kHz. The tool is constructed for measuring severe shock, and other extreme short duration applications. Accelerometers must have a high natural frequency, and be equally compact in order to measure shock exceeding 2,500g. Common applications of this model include drop testing, far field blast, pyrotechnic, and shock testing. Available with 50,000g range, this lightweight tool allows operation in compression mode, complete with a 10-32 axial connector. This model is made out of stainless steel housing, and electrically base isolated that is IEPE standard-compliant.
