Dytran presents model 7504A1 variable capacitance (VC) accelerometers. The high precision and high performance devices have a single axis and come with a range of 2g. The accelerometers integrate a VC accelerometer chip along with low impedance, high drive buffer for measuring low level acceleration.
7504A1 has been specifically designed for applications with zero-to-medium frequency. It offers 0 Hz (DC) as low frequency response and a high frequency range of 400 Hz. This module comprises of a MEMS capacitive sensing element, a differential output, and a custom IC amplifier. All these are combined in a robust aluminum housing with weight of 20 grams. These devices include a built-in 5-foot cable assembly. This terminates in flying leads and can be fixed easily using 10-32 screws.
The 7504A1 ensures minimal impact of variation in supply voltage thanks to its on board regulation. Also it is unaffected by temperature fluctuations and thermal gradients.
